Knitting – One Finished Sweater

I started knitting this little sweater from The Velvet Acorn on Etsy because I thought it was so cute, and I was so anxious to see how my hand-dyed yarn looked knitted up. I also have a granddaughter with the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen! I was hoping it would fit her when I was done and I think it will. The only thing I have left to do is put buttons on it.

And you know when you get about this far into it, and you just can’t wait to see what it’s going to look like?

That picture is about the truest representation of the color. I finished the sweater – it was a quick little knit and blocked it and took pictures of it.

This is the back, with a little bit of gathering at the back waist.

The bottom ribbing which is a little bit different, almost lacy looking.

The complete back

One side of the front. 3/4 length sleeves

The entire front, minus buttons, and with a funny color cast to it.

I’m so glad it fits her, and now I want to make another one – it was so fun!
